YELLOW MUMS is an early floral study centered on light, color and layered form. Painting the overlapping petals challenged me to observe subtle shifts in temperature, shadow and texture while strengthening my control of composition and detail. This project was developed in conjunction with Oolite Arts' painting workshops.
